Norway - Entry quarantine removed
Following a recommendation from the National Institute of Public Health, the government is removing the requirement for entry quarantine, because it is no longer considered necessary for infection control. This will apply to anyone arriving in Norway from the 26th of January 2022.
Travelers must still test themselves and register upon arrival in Norway. If you have been fully vaccinated or have had covid-19 in the last six months, and can document this with a valid corona certificate, you do not need a negative test certificate before entering Norway. The requirement for a certificate for a negative test taken before arrival still applies to persons who cannot document with a corona certificate that they have been fully vaccinated or have undergone covid-19.
The entry quarantine can be reintroduced if the infection situation should change or there should be a new virus variant that requires stricter measures.
